Twin Palms Barbershop

This was a brilliant experience. I’m very, very happy with my cut and beard style. Sean was amazing and his attention to detail was better than anything I have ever experienced before. His communication was on point. Sean totally included me in what he was doing, constantly asking me questions about what I wanted and giving me explanations of why he was doing what he was doing all the way through? I would highly recommend Twin Palms and Sean to anyone looking for a great experience. The place has a fantastic vibe and the guys clearly enjoying working with each other and their clients. An absolute 10/10 experience!!!

I had my first long-hair haircut here, and Sam did a fantastic job. The shop was bright and white, obviously cleaned by a staff who are proud of their workplace. Twin Palms buck the recent trend of industrial styling and instead have large windows with tonnes of light, nestled in Fortitude Valley. Parking was easy to find, although paid parking in the valley is never kind. Not only did Sam give me a great haircut, hey gave me pointers on how to style it easily and the biggest endorsement was that he was also happy with the cut. Thanks again, can't wait until the next one.

Honestly it was actually refreshing to discover this hidden gem! The music was not blaring, the barbers were warm and welcoming. Moving cities and finding a new local has been crazy. Two bad cuts down and I guess third time is a charm! Salvatore is a master of cuts and will listen, understand the brief and deliver! Super happy and looking forward to popping in for my next cut ✂️ 😀

Really disappointing experience on January 23. I don't have super high expectations from a barber but have been to most of the Brisbane barbers around the $60 price point and have had exceptional experiences there. This is the only pricier barber that I have had an experience that I would expect from a $20 barber. 1. The sides weren't tapered properly. At the top of the sides, there are bits of hair that are longer than others. The attention to detail was just clearly not there. 2. The haircut took just 20 minutes or less. Usually, my haircut takes barbers 45 minutes, or 30 minutes if they rush a bit (which is the allocated time at Twin Palms). 3. I was not offered any drink, while other customers were. 4. My neck/bottom of the hairline was NOT shaved! This is the first time that a barber has failed to do this. I had to pay another barber closer to home to do it 😂 5. The barber cut a little too much off the top and the hair is not styling. 6. The barber shaped my head similar to a bowl. I really wanted to like this barbershop, but this is unfortunately not an isolated, one-off incident. I also got a haircut here in November 2021 with a different barber and it was terrible. I then had a decent barber (Markus) fix it up. I come back to see a different barber 2 years later and he cut it without much attention to detail. Would not recommend.

I’ve been coming here for nearly a year now and have always come out with a great cut. Callum does an amazing job at explaining what he’s doing and walking you through all the little details and options. Paulo also did an awesome job at cutting my hair from long to short. I recommend this place to all my friends looking for a great haircut.
